Finding My Aesthetic

Image
I want to find a way to go through life and know exactly what I want. I want to buy clothes that go with my own clothing flawlessly and fit my style perfectly. In order to do these things I need to get to know myself. I need to know what I like and what looks good on me. 1. What do I do? I spend most of my time with my daughter teaching her to be strong and smart. I also spend a lot of time strength training (mostly at home). And of course I work a normal job. My aesthetic should go hand in hand with my lifestyle. 2. What vibes do I want? I want the vibes around me to be clean and natural. I want to give the feeling of a peaceful forest but also a modern home. I want to feel welcoming but polite. 3. Clothes & Accessories The clothes you choose should be clothes that you not only like but feel confident and comfortable in. You may have to experiment a little to see what brings both confidence and comfort but it's worth it. 4. Colors & Textures ...

Diaper Bag Essentials

Image
A diaper bag can prove helpful for many expected and unexpected situations. The size of the diaper bag doesn't need to be large but big enough for you to carry everything you need. Your bag doesn't need to be the typical diaper bag either. You can use a bookbag or a purse for your carrying needs. The essential items that you need may change as you're child gets older, but these all should be included in the beginning: 1. At least 3 extra diapers. The more you have the better because sometimes a baby can poop immediately after being changed. This also helps if you forget to pack more because you at least should have 1 left. 2. An extra pack of wipes. Wipes can be used to wipe so many different messes for you and your baby. Having a pack of wipes separate from the one you use in your home keeps you from using them up as quickly. 3. An extra set of clothes. This is helpful for leaky diapers, spit up, and other messes that may soil your baby's clothing. ...

Tips for Healthy eating

Image
Eating healthy can be challenging and boring for those who are not accustomed to it. Although it is absolutely imperative that you eat well to lose weight and/or feel better, many people struggle with it. This article will give you tips to help you eat healthier even if you are busy. First, you should only buy food that is an ingredient for a meal or a healthy snack . Narrowing down the amount of unhealthy foods in your home automatically cuts down the likelihood of you eating something that you shouldn't. You should get an idea of the meals you'd want to make and get those items first. If you find that your sweet tooth is undeniable, buy plenty of fruit and only 1 unhealthy snack. This will force you to ration the snack and substitute it with other snacks. It should give you the taste of what you want then you can switch with fruit to curb the sweet tooth. If fresh fruits and vegetables go bad too quickly for you, you should buy them frozen. You're no longer ...

Baby Care Essentials!

Image
As a new mother, you're 100% going to be thrown through a loop as you discover what motherhood feels like and how tiring it is. So here's a list of essentials you'll need to raise your child! The obvious things: • Diapers . After you give birth, the hospital will provide some in sizes 1 and premature. This is a good opportunity to figure out what size best fits your baby. I recommend getting size 1 before then because either your baby will grow into it or already fit it. • Onesies . When your baby is first born they will need help keeping warm so I recommend onesies that cover the arms and legs completely. When they get older and start pooping more often I recommend the onesies that are like leotards just in case leaking occurs, so you can catch in the clothes and it doesn't get all over the furniture or your clothes. • Blankets. These help to keep your child warm and when the baby is a little older and has trouble sleeping you can swaddle them bring a...

The Best Ab Strength Training Exercises

Image
My favorite at home Strength Training exercises for abs. Strength training is my go to way to exercise. It's good for people who can't afford to buy an array of dumbbells and other weights. It is challenging and doesn't require any preparation other than a few simple stretches. These are my favorite ab strength training exercises: Sit Ups This is the most basic exercise for abs but is so simple and easy to do Reaching Crunches This one you can feelin your upper abdominals. You should try to touch your toes for that maximum range of motion. Knee Touch Crunches These engage both the upper and lower abdominals and is also good for your upper back muscles. Leg Raises This one uses your own weight to challenge you. You should try to bring your legs as high as possible and push yourself with these. Alternating Lying Leg Extensions This one works the legs and the lower so it's good on full body days. This is also a good altern...

Bouncing Back After Birth

Whether you delivered your baby through cesarean or vaginal birth, you will find these tips to be helpful in your journey to postpartum fitness. For those who have delivered via cesarean: Please wait until you are fully healed before doing any of this. Your recovery is more important than anything. For those who gave birth vaginally: Wait a week after you finish postpartum bleeding before you start any of this. You should not stress your body out. You should focus on feeling better, getting acquainted  with your baby, and trying to rest. Me and my daughter (9 months Postpartum) One of the best things you can do to lose weight after pregnancy is to breastfeed . It may sound weird but breastfeeding is the best thing for you and your baby. Breastmilk is the best thing for your baby to ingest and making milk (which you actually do while feeding) can burn up to 300 calories a day. As your baby gets older and drinks more you will burn more calories. This next tip goes along...
