Weekly Check-in August 27th,2022

Image
So, I've decided to do a weekly check-in type of blog post so that I could stay connected with my audience because I used to do vlogs where I would have updates and I would talk to the camera and everything, but my life is really boring now so there's not a lot of interesting things to Vlog except for cleaning in Sunday Reset videos. I do  vlogs still but they are more-so  a short version because of YouTube shorts, they're pushing that a lot more now. So I started making that content and I do find that that's a little more rewarding when I feel like it keeps me from rambling on for ages. A good example would be that I've already made this blog post before but I did just keep on rambling on so I'm making it again.  So for the past week or two, I have been super stressful so I'm having a lot of hormonal acne so I have begun to appreciate Prebiotic and probiotic skincare a lot more because I feel like it definitely gives my skin this sort of balance

Trying Clean Girl makeup + Highlighter & Brow Gel Review

For today's post, I did a combination of reviewing some products and trying out clean makeup. The trend had fascinated me because it made people look very naturally. Beautiful. And I wanted to try it out on my own.  So, one the two products that I tried are the Brow Atelier Groom & Sculpt Tinted Brow Gel in Truffle and I think that overall it worked well, it reminds me of the glossier boy brow, which I did not use, but I feel like it does the job very well. It's very budge proof once it sets. I think the color that was chosen for me, by Ipsy, is really good and I like the bristles are really hard but I feel like That's not a downside. It just means that they're not going to start smearing too easily.  I do think that it's a little unforgiving when you have to clean it up. But overall, I think it's really good and sweat proof.  The second product that I look that I tried today was a powder highlighter.  I found it to be a little dark for me which is surprisin

Trying Kombucha + 11% AHA Exfoliation Power Toner

So I tried this Kombucha + 11% AHA Exfoliation Power Toner for a week. I was excited because it said has kombucha in it and I know kombucha is good for a lot of other things but I'm not sure what it was good for skin wise.  It describes itself as a overnight exfoliator that helps reduce the size of pores and that it contains kombucha black tea ferment that works as a prebiotic to help support the skin’s natural microbiome. The first day that I used this it stung a little but not in the allergy way but in the "I rubbed too hard" way. I noticed my skin looked a little darker. I assume it's because of the color of it. I used in conjunction with the moisturizer I always use at night. (Ponds anti-wrinkle cream) It was moisturizing and my skin didn't have a bad reaction to it. I noticed my skin looked much more smoothe and clear. This is something that wasn't hard to integrate into my routine so I will continue to use it.  I rate it a 5 out of 5 because I saw only
