Whether you are out of shape or have come to the realization that you're not as fit or as healthy as you thought, these tips should help you. Recognize why you want to get fit.  Define Body Type  Define goals. Start off easy. Make a routine. The reason behind why you want to be fit can greatly affect your motivation and ability to disapline yourself. Unless your head is in the right mindset, you might not last very long. Recognizing what you are starting out with helps with figuring out how to start working out and what parts to work out. You'll have to figure out how much of you is fat and how much is muscle. The amount of fat and muscle varies because of how active you are in certain muscles groups.  You should figure out what you're goal is so that you can mold your body into that goal. One Punch Fitness Challenge

Image
This challenge is called the One Punch Challenge because it originates from the anime One Punch Man. I was reminded of it when it was referenced in a webcomic I was reading called Lookism. The challenge entails 100 push ups, 100 sit ups, 100 squats, and running a 10k everyday. Personally, I started by doing as many as I could until I got to 100 and the next day the amount that I did the previous day is my minimum until I got to 100. I also don't have the time to do a 10k so I will implement it later on (especially since doing 100 squats makes it hard for me to function as a normal human being in far too many ways). Here's my first week experience: Day 1: 19 pushups, 70 sit ups, 100 squats I've never been good at push ups so this was challenging. I hadn't done sit ups in ages either. But squats? I'm almost a veteran! I save squats for last so that it doesn't affect the work ethic of the other ones since I knew I could do 100. Here's a video for da

Things they don't tell you about: Being a mother

When you have your first child you're warned about the lack of sleep but,  everthing else cone cones as a surprise. 1. Your food is always cold. Imagine you made you (and your significant other if you have one) dinner and you sit down to eat. You think you're going to eat? Nope. The baby has either pooped every where or is somehow starving and needs every little bit of your attention before she/he is satisfied. By the time your done your food is feels like a thawed out frozen dinner. 2. Naps cause the most stress. Naps seem like the perfect break and they are... when they finally go to sleep, that is. Until they go to sleep they'll be fussy and irritated and don't even know why. And you need patience to get them to sleep so, while you're running out of it you need to have even more if it. And the longer they're awake the more they get overtired. 3. Growth spurts have no warning. You won't know until its time to feed and they appear to not have eaten in

The Moonlit Odyssey

I created a web comic on webtoon. You can download the app or you can use your browser to read it for free. You don't even need an account to read it. I'm super proud of it and find it fulfilling to make because the story comes out naturally. It is a romance though so be warned. I don't color it because coloring is maddening so, in order to continue to enjoy this comic it will stay in black and white. The story is about a young Native American girl who's family migrated to Japan. Her fate is intertwined with that of a ghost that was frozen in time. (He doesnt remain a ghost for long, don't worry) They will go on many strange and hilarious adventures. I honestly can't wait to draw these up because my imagination is just crazy excited. I try to update weekly so, stay tuned. Read it here and tell me what you think.
